How do I decide point values for my links?

Start with zero. If you have a useful reward, enable points on the few links that fit that reward and choose an amount fans can understand. Public links always remain open without sign-in.

Can someone open a point-earning link without signing in?

Yes. The link opens immediately. Only signed-in fans receive the configured points, and there is no retroactive credit for an anonymous click.

Can I change point values after setting them?

Yes. Edit the block to change its point amount or turn points off. The change affects future eligible clicks; existing fan balances are not rewritten.

When should you use points?

Keep the main destination public

If your post promises a song, article, or download, let visitors reach it immediately. A point reward is not a reason to put sign-in before the link.

Offer a useful extra

An optional bonus can make sense for fans who return for new work. Explain what the points are for and make the reward attainable.

Review what people actually use
